Based on my experience with the zillion places that restrictions can 
reside, I would strongly recommend you engage with Fred K1VR so he can 
help you check out potential QTHs.  The problem is that there are so 
many places where antenna restrictions can hide that it's almost 
impossible for someone not in the biz to ferret them all out.  And if 
the reason for your move is specifically to find a place where you can 
put up a tower, getting Fred on your team to check out myriad of hiding 
spots is about the only way to buy with some level of confidence.

I went into my purchase 5 years ago thinking "it can't be that 
complicated - after all this is Kansas - not San Franscico or NYC."  It 
took about 1 month to get myself reeducated.  It IS that complicated and 
there are a LOT of places that restrictions reside.

It's stunning for me to believe - even now - that that in a "free 
country" there are so many ways for ham aspirations to be squashed but 
that is in fact the case.  Getting Fred to cover your end of the deal is 
cheap insurance.  I cannot imagine a more worse feeling than having 
bought a parcel specifically to put up a tower only to find out after 
the fact that there is some restriction buried somewhere that prohibits it.
