[TowerTalk] Al-to-Al

I use an acid brush that I cut the bristles down to about 1/4"   
Apply it, then use the brush to pull as much off as you can.  The bristles make "groves" like thinset (when you tile a floor).   
YMMV.

I must agree with Tim on this.  This stuff has never let me down.
To make a bit easier to apply, and although it may be a 'sin', I apply 
it to the inner element, then spray WD-40 on it and spread it with vinyl 
gloved hand.
Goes on a bit more even this way.
