[TowerTalk] Kohler home generator hash?

Just learned of something new to me - soft start for air conditioners. As I will be replacing both air handlers and compressors this year and I have a whole house backup NG generator, you have tweaked my interest. Where do I find more info on them?
On a side note I heard mention that variable speed air handler blowers can cause hash compared to quiet fixed speed blowers. Any truth to that.
Tnx for any feedback

Hi Tim,

I’m a bit surprised they aren’t offered as a standard add-on. I was pretty skeptical until I installed them and when I saw the difference they made. I was pretty much blown away!

I’d never considered the issue for cell sites but now that you mention it, of course!
