you're right -that toroid is a significant fraction of a wavelength in 
circumference at HF.

And I notice they don't show someone heaving that sucker on to the 
winding machine - I'll bet they use a forklift.

So you probably don't want to use it for your 600m antenna choke, 
suspended in the middle of the fjord.
