[TowerTalk] UHF (PL259) soldered center with braid crimp or crimp-crimp, supply?

Thanks to all for the very useful information. My friends have just 
taken delivery of a large matrix for their contest and remote station so 
there are a lot of connections that need to be made/remade to install 
this. Crimping would seem to be the only sensible approach. Will pass 
the inf on and they make the decision.
