I offer a simple solution.  Build a ham shack away from RFI problems.  I
built a weekender for the in-laws, and it became my shack when they passed
away.

Thanks to all for the suggestions.  We had a marital meeting of the minds
yesterday and her mind won....

 I'm stuck.  She really likes the mirror the way it is, and I guess I"m
going to have to just stay on the sidelines for 25 min each morning.  Going
to be tough when propagation from Minneapolis to Spratly on 40 and 80 during
the DXpedition this week is her prime makeup time!!!
