If all you're doing is a few folded counterpoises, 1/2-in PVC conduit 
cut into suitable lengths and drilled with holes for the wires to pass 
works just fine. Experience helping a friend with his FCP taught me that 
some means to hold the spacers in place along the line is a good idea. 
PVC conduit is CHEAP!

I've built a half dozen or more fan dipoles using this technique. Some 
have been up 120 ft or more.
