Well, if you could support it in the middle of a suitable conduit, you 
can probably make it work - ladder line (or even better, quad line) has 
fairly well contained fields.  If you can support it, say, 5 times the 
width, from anything else, it might work fairly well.

It would be pretty complex, so you'd need a really compelling reason to 
do it.
