##  watch  out!   Those F12  windload specs  are  incorrect.   They  used the  old  222- C  spec....
which  is the  actual  projected  area of a cylinder....  multiplied by  .67 

##  IE:  when F12  sez an  ant  is ....  10 sq feet.... its  really  15  sq  ft.      You  have  to  multiply  F12  spec  by 1.5   to  get  reality.  

## towers  are  all  rated  using .....projected area of a cylinder. 

##  This  is how  towers get  overloaded. 

## JK ants...and  optibeam   have  done  their windload specs  the  correct  way.   

##  These  days,  the projected  area  of  ALL  the  eles of a HF  yagi  are  simply  added  up, to  obtain .... total projected  area. 

##  Typ the  total  eles  area  is  greater  than  the  boom  area....  so  the total  eles  area is  used  for  the  spec.
