##  I  used  4.5 inch OD   PVC  for  the form.  Once coil  is wound,  turns  tight, its slid  off  the  pvc  form. 
Turns are then  spaced  out  to  spec..starting  with a screw driver  at one  end...spiraling round and  round .   
Repeat  for the remaining coils. 

##  I  used  .375 od  tubing  for  the  hb  coils on  my  F12-340N.   Ends  flattened,  then  punched for the  .25-20 hardware.  
In  my  case,  aprx  5.5  turns.
