[TowerTalk] complaining about towers

If he doesn't like it, too bad.  If he moved in before it was up and doesn't like the fact that he has to look at the towers, he should have moved into a deed restricted community.  If the tower was already there, he is an idiot to have moved into a neighborhood where this "eyesore" was already up.  I may not like the fact he has painted his house chromatic yellow and has five dogs that bark all day, but if there are no deed restrictions against that and/or I moved into that situation then it's my problem not his.
Back when I lived in FL I had three 200 footers already up in the air, when a newly moved in neighbor started bitching about the towers.  No sympathy from me on this one.
Now, fall down zones are a different issue.  We're talking safety, not aesthetics.
By the way, my neighbor's huge pine trees and/or oak trees when they fall, can totally destroy a house.  Can I bitch about that since I'm in the fall down zone?

A tower may be a thing of beauty in
your eyes, but look at it from the
perspective of the guy next door.

I was invited to a co-workers house
for a 4th of July BBQ. This was a
typical suburb setting, houses on a
10K Sq Ft lot. Two doors down the
street were two towers, 100' and 80'.
They were loaded with antennas. Just
imagine yourself in this guys shoes,
looking up at that mass of steel and
Aluminum towering over everything.

And, yes, both towers had proper permits.

Being Law, common sense or common
decency, the rule of falling on your
property is, IMHO, a good rule and
should be followed.
