I don't think I took part in the survey but the Yaesu G2800 is a fabulous
rotor period and for the price there really is no comparison.  Skip the
control box and buy one of the other control options that work with it.  I
have 2, both turning multiple large yagis (4 el 20M and 7 el 15M and the
other has a 3 el 40M and 4 el 10M), in Vermont, and they have lasted many
years very nicely.
