If a hairpin is used... and shield of coax bonded to boom or mast or top of tower..... IE inboard side of feed point CM choke, is a gas discharge tube at bottom of tower.....or shack even required ? Hairpin will of course, bond the center conductor and braid. Jim VE7RF
