Possibly 4Nec2.  I use a DOS .EXE file console inside 4Nec2.  The file was
included on the LLNL CD-ROM for NEC 4.2.  For 4Nec2, I have no idea if it's
as simple as changing the .EXE file. That will be something for Arie Voors
to figure out -- should he even choose to do so.

What we know is that NEC 5 supersedes 4.2.  It's natural to think "it must
be better because it's a later release."  But do any of the changes
materially improve modeling for our purposes?  Or are the improvements
mostly abstract for modeling we won't encounter even for our most complex
needs?

Given the low fee for individual users, I'll likely purchase the NEC 5
license and at least have it in the event Arie or Roy decide to make use of
it in their programs.  Government funding for LLNL has been teetering and I
would rather have it now than wish I had purchased it if/when LLNL is no
more.

So with no EZNEC Pro/5 in the foreseeable future, you would have purchase
the obsolete NEC 4.2 for $300 instead of the newer $110 NEC 5 version.  What
other options are there for using latest and greatest electromagnetic code
license?
