I meant 59 inches for 50.000 MHz.  Quarter wave free space.
Looks like I miscalculated or something and ended up typing
56 inches.   I wasn't trying for 5% short.  My bad.

Anyway, I think your method makes even more sense.

As a former network analyzer designer, I am impressed
that you were able to think outside the box and use
a current probe as a superior modality.  That emulates
the architecture of the HP 4815 vector impedance
meter, which is nothing like a VNA.  Good job!
