[TowerTalk] Grounding an Alumatower

I am a little confused by this practice. There are many types of stainless
steel which are all over the galvanic table. Looking at the following table
I am not seeing the advantage to using a generic stainless steel shim
between the tower and the copper wire:

aluminum flashing shim would be a better choice?

tower. Since it is aluminum, you might put some of that
(I can't remember the name) conductive paste meant for
