[TowerTalk] Small mast design - comments?

OK, I just submitted an RFQ to Industrial Metal Supply for the following:
Two 12' lengths of 6061 Aluminum tube, 1-1/2" outer diameter, 1/8" wall
thickness.
One 6' length of 6061 Aluminum tube, 1-1/4" outer diameter, 1/4" wall
thickness.

The thick inner tube will be placed inside the joint and pinned. We will
use drive-on steps at the very bottom, a mast bracket at the 2' level, and
a "guy" holding the two masts together over the roofline of the RVs.

Does this sound reasonable? Any additional tips or suggestions before I buy
the materials would be appreciated. Thanks for the help you've already
provided. :-)
