[TowerTalk] Small mast design - comments?

During field day one of our members uses telescoping pvc tubes with hose clamps to secure when extended. Think they are about 35 ft when extended and hold up a couple of delta loops with 3 guys. Works like a charm and is pretty inexpensive.
