Commscope makes a very nice CATV-grade RG6 specified for direct burial. 
It's flooded with a sticky goop that is said to self-sealing to nicks in 
the shield, and that most critters don't like to chew. I've used it for 
years, mostly laying on the ground. DX Eng sells it.
