Thought of one more thing. Are you sure the tips of the elements are 3/8”? Or are they 7/16”? HyGain has long used 7/16” for element tips combined with their swaging methods. Just a thought.

Back in the 1960s HyGain made the original “Long John” yagis for 20, 15 and 10. I only ever worked on a couple of them and can’t remember if they had two driven elements or not. But the slotted aluminum with the custom shaped clamp and single bolt to lock the element pieces together is classic HyGain. And they did have a different element mount style than the typical HyGain clamshell. Could be one of those. They were mucho expensive compared to the normal stuff so pretty rare. Pretty doubtful that MFJ got any documentation for that line of antennas.

Hello Gents,
Can anyone please help in identifying this antenna?I'm trying to learn the make and model. I've looked allot online but haven't been able to find it.I'd like to find some documentation for it.It calculates out to be a 15 meter, I believe- monobander, (no traps).Boom length is approx 393"Two driven elements approx 265.5" longThe distance between the driven elements is approx 53"All elements are 5/8" swaged down to 3/8"
