[TowerTalk] This just about freaked me out

I'm reminded of a recent thread on some group or the other where planting a pole 
or tower in the ground and filling the hole with sand was discussed.  I've 
personally done this on a small scale with a 4" pipe inside a 6" pipe in 
concrete and the gap filled with sand.  But this takes it to a new level:
