I use Amphenol connectors exclusively. Not worth the aggravation of connector issues to use the cheaper substitutes. As far as reusing them, I discard them when already used. To me it is not worth the troube of cleaning and preparing them for reuse. I still have had connector issues occasionally but it was due to my faulty
assembly / soldering. The problem was not from the connectors but the space beteeen the headphones. hihihi
