Why does the vertical weight matter? If your system is balanced and the
bearing is good it should be easy to turn.  If not you will need a bigger
rotator than a Ham IV.  Anyway unclamping and reclamping in the proper
position is the only way to fix this issue with a Hy-Gain rotator.  If you
had a K7NV Prop Pitch then you could just recalibrate.
