and might use this if it's big enough.

Interesting item I came across that looks as if it might help keep feedline
splices and other junctions outside dry.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089XVCC21  My experience has been the best way is
to shield a junction directly from precip., but also provide drain or evap.
holes so the interior doesn't fill up with water from condensation.
