[TowerTalk] Dipole center connector

I’ve had fairly good results with the Budwig.  The key is not to use the feed wires to support the antenna.  Loop it through the holes and then double back to solder to the feed wire or better yet, double it back on itself and clamping with split bolts and then loop back to solder to the feed wires.  Do not put any load, especially vertical load, on the feed wires.

I’ve had a DX Engineering center T up for 12 years, $29 for the kit.  The feed line is 300 ohm twin lead.
