[TowerTalk] Removing ground rods

I've done two things.

2.  When that doesn't work, use an angle grinder with a cut off wheel and cut it off about 6" below the surface and abandon it.

I've tried the visegrips and even tried to use my car jack to press against the visegrips, but the ground is too soft and uneven for that to work.
