[TowerTalk] Yaesu rotor problem

I have a Yaesu G800 (I think; it has  been up for years), and a G1000 DXA
control box that I have been using with it for several years. All of a
sudden today the rotor does not turn. The dial lights, and it indicates the
correct direction of the antenna, but pushing either of the rotate controls
does not seem to do anything. Is there an "easy" way to determine whether
the problem is with the rotor, the control, or the cable?
