Living in a dense forest where dozens of neighbors have lost homes from 
wildfires, we recently had a metal roof installed. With first use of 
SO2R, I experienced significant IMD, degrading second radio operation. 
The interlocking panels that make up the roof are painted. The obvious 
solution is bonding them top and bottom, which might have been practical 
with initial installation had I thought to have it written into the 
contract.
