[TowerTalk] Pipe for guy anchor

Jim:

Those pipes were purchased in 1992, and I have no detailed information as to what they are. I do remember something about them being drill casings, which are quite stout. They did not fold when the tower blew down. A large tree branch blew down and hit the 3 -way spreader on the pole for the guy wires, and sheared the anchor bolt for that spreader so I lost all 3 guys on that side of the  tower and down it came.  -  John Owens -  N7TK
