[TowerTalk] RS232 Surge protectors

We make one, but it was for a specific application of a commercial customer and doesn’t have DB9 connectors; it wires directly to terminal strips.  It’s based on our M-348 (rotator line/control line) product.  It’s not on the website but is available upon request.
Model M-346 is a new model using fast acting TVS diodes and gas discharge tubes (GDT) 
to achieve a lower clamping voltage for sensitive RS-232, RS-485 and RS-422 data lines. 
TVS diodes and GDT’s were selected due to their low capacitance, minimizing distortion 
on serial data lines that might occur with other types of protection devices.
