YES!

YES! N6BT, the fine engineer who designed the top-performing Force 12 
line of Yagis, has done some excellent work with center-fed verticals 
with a lot of top and bottom loading. W6GJB and I have designed and 
built several for portable operation based on his work that performed 
quite well.
