[TowerTalk] 160 vertical dipole

I looked through all the answers to the 160 vertical dipole and have two more types to consider.

1,  There was a nice booklet with a blue cover by WA3FET of how to turn any tower over 70 feet into a vertical dipole on 160.  I am looking for my copy but some of the old timers on towertalk might have a copy.

2.  Tom N4KG (SK) had a great article in a 1994 QST on how to make a tower with beams on to to use reverse feed with 4 elevated radials to make a great 160 antenna.  I tried this on my tower with a 2 El 40 mounted 10 feet over a KT34XA and found the 1830 point at  9 feet and hooked 4 short radials made from Spi-Ro 160 dipole haves.  It worked great as I ran my first JA's which is hard from GA.  I even worked a RA0 just across from JA on SSB.  He was so excited that he sent me his QSL directly as I was his first SSB contact with the USA.  I ran into RFI problems with the TV and stereo equipment as my tower was right next to the house so I had to look for another 160 antenna.
