Steve makes a good point. The gin pole I use is 2in OD with a 1/2in wall
6106 aluminum. The bracket for the tower was made locally and larger than
a Rohn model - the pulley is also rated for 600lb. Many great suggestions
and I have a couple to try. I hope that this may help others in the future
when they find themselves in a similar situation.
