[TowerTalk] Help wanted: Removing Prodelin hardline jacket

Not sure that I did what Jon did, but basically I just put the Harbour Freight 4” version on my cordless drill, marked off the 2” of jacket requiring removal, and ground it down until all the ribs were showing.  That was enough to allow me to thread the connector tail end onto the cable and move forward!

I to use the 7/8 Prodlen Hardline…  AA1K has developed a easy methoud  to remove the insulation with out scoring the alunimum spiral  sheath. It’s a Harbor freight  scrubby  wheel on a maderal and using  battery  operated drill .

They call it a 4 1.2 pollycarbit abrasive wheel

hot water (or a gentle heat gun) to soften the plastic a bit? I've used
that technique when removing thick insulation from large gauge wire.
