I found some GB OX-GARD in one of my antenna parts boxes.  That should work better.  I think the Pentrox is more for stainless steel.

 I like Penetrox and Noalox for this application.  Just be sure to clean the old parts thoroughly before lube-reassembly.  I like to use kerosene as a cleaner, applied with an automotive parts cleaning brush.
Of course, you can always send it out for professional refurb.
