[TowerTalk] How To Remove Tarnish off Bare Copper Wires

All I have ever done with antenna wire (preparatory to soldering) is to
scrape off the enamel (if any) along with any other crud with my pocket
knife.

I then just make my solder connection (wherever it is) and then wrap some
coax seal around the joint and then wrap Scotch 33 tape around the coax
seal.

I have NEVER had a problem with this, and my dipoles and other wires have
been up in the air for many years.

I quit soldering copper wires together outside years ago. Use a
copper split bolt instead. Fast, easy, weather doesn't matter, works
FB for years and years, never had one fail.
