Steve,
My tower runs for 3 2x stacks are straight to base entry panel grounded
at a small shed (4x6x8') I built next to the tower base. I used the
commercial tower rubber bushings as entry panel pass thru's. Then the
phasing lines are connected (DINs) and coiled and stored in the shed
rafters. Three coils of LDF5 since these are 10/15/20 stacks. We did
TDR the full lengths to match them. I didn't want the connectors out in
he weather and the coils on the tower. All 6 LDF5 are connected to the
StackMatches with equal length DIN to PL jumpers of LMR400.
For the Heliax bonding, I used the Heliax grounding kits outside to the
shed entry panel. Then the StackMatches also bond inside the shed to
the tower ground system. So far (6yrs), no issues and the stacks work.
If you would like some pictures, contact me off list.
