Bruce,You can upgrade the winch. For example, my tower (from an SK) came with a 1500lb winch.I swapped it out for a new 2500lb winch. Much, much easier to crank, although a little more cranking needed. I  asked about the fixture because the 2500lb winch will fit on the same mounting plate.  I use a 2500lb on both the tower and tiltover fixture.Bill

My Tristao has the 2 way mounting fixture and I have always hand cranked over to the horizontal position to work on things but having back surgery next week that will straighten out the issues but NO strenuous  stuff for a few months so I need to ad a winch…….sorry so longBruce K9RO______________________________________________________________________________________________TowerTalk mailing listTowerTalk at contesting.comhttp://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/towertalk______________________________________________________________________________________________TowerTalk mailing listTowerTalk at contesting.comhttp://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/towertalk
