According to Google beeswax will melt if heated slowly to 140 deg. It seems like it may be easier to pply this way.Chuck K9LC

How about beeswax sheets? Slip them on the inside of the tubing and slide back and forth as if polishing a boot.-------- Original message --------From: David Needham <aa4vt.dave at gmail.com> Date: 9/22/23 15:11 (GMT-08:00) To: towertalk at contesting.com Subject: [TowerTalk] MA 550 Beeswax? Hello,I am refurbishing a US Tower MA 550. The instructions for installing cablesreferences waxing the outside of Tubes #2 and #3 with bees wax. I have seenthis in bars, but is there another form for bees wax that would alloweasier application than rubbing a bar all over the pipe?-- Thank you!David Needham, AA4VT______________________________________________________________________________________________TowerTalk mailing listTowerTalk at contesting.comhttp://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/towertalk______________________________________________________________________________________________TowerTalk mailing listTowerTalk at contesting.comhttp://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/towertalk
