[TowerTalk] TowerTalk difference?

Unfortunately, in the last 30 years amateurs (like the rest of society)
have become too lazy to express themselves in text mode. They simply
must have their html mail with all of the screen captures, pictures,
graphic decorations, etc.

Thus we have seen the proliferation of alternates to towertalk, amps,
elecraft, etc. and a wholesale relocation of many other old time lists
to web based services like groups.io and google groups. This "dumbing
down" has brought two problems ... the information is now spread into
multiple locations (making it harder to find for those who bother to
look instead of lazily asking the same question for the n-hundredth
time) and opened the average person to significantly more security
threats hidden in the html and image codes.
