[TowerTalk] SELF-SUPPORTING TOWER NEEDED IN THE MIDWEST

The weak spot is where it transitions from tapered to straight @ 140'.
Generally it will handle whatever that 60' piece of 4' on a side tower
will handle, which isn't nothing. Sabre is a good manufacturer.

The companies that make SS towers seem to have settled on that basic
design - mainly varying the number of straight sections to satisfy
loading requirements. The straight sections are normally 4' face width.
We often get towers with 40' of straight, sometimes just 20' or 10' for
the beefier ones.
