Our 140 ft Pirod tower took 30 cu. yards of 4000 psi concrete and about 23 cu. yards for the 100 ft tower.  Four full concrete trucks but some of it was also used to pour two patio type entrances for my comm shelter.

Any of these towers will require 70+ sq yds of concrete. Huge project, over $100k installed, depending on local concrete cost.

If your friend is open minded regarding spending on this, he might look at one of the Luso towers:
