This water has also been badly muddied by Amphenol's purchase of several 
connector companies, and the subsequent re-branding of the connectors 
they produce as Amphenol Connex, Amphenol RF, etc. It isn't clear to me 
which of the brands is the real Amphenol. Perhaps someone can clarify that.
