I disagree respectfully. The 'Tommy Tape" or "Rescue Tape" is fine but does
not hold up to UV. But even so, the method that Steve suggested below works
fine. A layer of tape, then the coax seal, the another layer of 88 or even
33. When in doubt also use liquid electrical tape over all. Your results may
vary depending on one's skill I suppose, but a connection like this could be
immersed in water.  -Mike
