Ham friend back east sent the following website to me to look at.

Wonder if they dabble in amateur tower construction.

Having only owned self-standing crankup towers, my only experience is 
the stand-alone towers of hams I know. Never seen a tension-meter used, 
but may have just missed this aspect of the tower build.

Are devices like their tension meter used commonly in guyed amateur 
tower construction?
