When I looked into this, the Mastrant ropes have a polyester coating that
provides UV protection, where the Dyneema rope have a finish and a much
lesser degree of UV longevity.  

Correct me if I'm wrong.

<<< Why not try some Dyneema rope?  A local turned me on to it and it is a
great product.  Mastrant also sells their version.  Not expensive. and a lot
of sizes rom different vendors.  You do not need to go to DXE for
everything.
