Be aware that not all Dyneema ropes are the same and
have very different characteristics!

The Amazon rope is Amsteel Blue, made with Dyneema
SK78. It's a rigging rope and is meant for short
term loads. On a tower the creep will be high
and it'll have a short service life.

Mastant-M uses Dyneema DM20. DM20 is designed
for permanent mooring subject to continuous tension.
In a paper DM20 was tested and forecast to have less
than 0.3% creep with a 25-year life (*)

I've had my DM20 ropes on my towers for 7 years
and I haven't had to re-tension them.

It's understandable there might be confusion about
Dyneema types, there's not a lot of documentation
out there.

>> Why not try some Dyneema rope? A local turned me on to it and it
is a great product. Mastrant also sells their version.
Not expensive. and a lot of sizes rom different vendors. You do
not need to go to DXE for everything.
