[TowerTalk] Aluminum Boom Lubricant: Yes or Nope?

While reading W8JI's article on greases, I was getting disappointed in 
my choice of using Noalox for my old rebuilt yagis, until I got down to 
the next to the last paragraph, where he wrote:

"I use Noalox on clamped aluminum slip joints in antennas because it is 
generally less expensive than silicone dielectric greases and it appears 
to last longer."

Ahha, I feel redeemed again  8-)

That's not quite what he said in that next-to-last paragraph, Jim 8-)

I would wonder about that, too, if I was building to keep all this 
schtuff up in the air for a couple dozen years. However, I'll be real 
surprised if I make it to the next solar maximum in about 2035 - 36  8-D
