 Howdy -
Been using Polyphasers for > 20 years and on day 1 of antenna(s) installation.   Since then, experienced 2 direct strikes, the antenna exploded each time, with the Polyphaser clamping down instantly.   The feedline and radio(s) were safe.
I only use the N models.   Any lightning suppression installations MUST be done correctly per NEC and RF codes.
Once again, most commercial sites use Polyphaser lightning suppression They provide maximum protection, when compared to other manufactures.
Thanks and 73,James KI5DQ
