I'm not an engineer or expert but I've installed 3 of them and this is what I learned.      Each owner assembled the Hexbeam on their picnic table adjacent to their home. After assembly, each owner WORKED DX as they tested it OTA on the picnic table. Imo this is a pretty decent design with good performance.      GL with whatever your project is.
